Martin Hannon had a vision for a friendly venue where everyone enjoys a warm welcome in a relaxed environment. Whether you fancy a bite to eat, a drop to drink or a place to rest, you’ll find a welcoming atmosphere and contemporary service.

Our aim is to achieve a high degree of personal attention within the relaxed atmosphere that only a small hotel can provide – we concentrate on providing a friendly yet professional service where nothing is too much trouble.

Our philosophy is simple; if we can we will, and if we do we will do it well.

Our food is at the heart of what we do. You’ll find uncomplicated menus reflecting a refreshingly down to earth philosophy, a commitment to seasonal and local produce and care in the cooking. Smart-casual dining is the main business of our Bar & Bistro. Menus begin with a hearty breakfast then and evolve throughout the day.

Our restaurant and function room are available by reservation for private dining – large groups and small, your special event or tour group.

Our menus, whether in our Bar & Bistro or in our Restaurant feature classic Irish & European dishes with creative and tasty touches. We relish the challenge and welcome the opportunity to work with event and party organisers, to tailor make a party packages to delight your guests.

While we may have scoured the world for inspiration in our food offerings, we're blessed to be on the doorstep of of some fantastic local produce and wherever possible we make good use of this in our menu. There’s accommodation too, smart and moderately priced. The thirty en suite rooms are very attractive and offer all the usual conveniences plus wi/fi facilities, and a good breakfast.
